Opening of new base for community group set to boost Mansfield community

PrimaryPlus Retail Services was developed to provide complimentary offers that 'fit' with the new healthcare facilities that have been developed by PrimaryPlus. The objective is to provide added value services for both the patients and the Primary Care Trusts by by maximising the return on investment per square metre.

Typically PrimaryPlus will take the head lease and attract pharmacies, newsagents, launderettes and Creches etc to build the development into the heart of the community whilst deriving the optimum value from the infrastructure.

The footfall of a typical healthcare centre is significant making it attractive to retailers and the introduction of new technology can exploit a captive audience. For example the intoduction of Touch Pad technology into GP surgeries for prescriptions will ensure a 100% uptake for the 'in house' pharmacy.

Furthermore, a small convenience store can have a significant social and economic impact on the local community. We call this The Local Multiplier 3 (LM3) Model which is detailed below:-

  • Round 1 - The store's turnover
  • Round 2 - The value of the store's local spend (including wages, local services employed and local suppliers)
  • Round 3 - The value of the money spent with local suppliers

This is a genuine win/win for all stakeholders.
